Lately I find myself at a crossroad.  Do I talk about things that matter, or do I talk about stuff that makes us happy (only for a little while)  and vain etc.  I have come to the conclusion, I will write about whatever makes me happy.  So here goes. When I look around me, I see a lot of hurt, and people who are leading their lives based on hurt.  They haven't let go. And I understand, that it is difficult to let go of that pain or anger.  But maybe think about it this way, leading a positive life, having only happines on the inside, letting go of all the negative and challenging yourself to be a positive person, who beams out positive energy, that just might be the way to go! So today I challenge you!!  Make a change even it's only for a couple of minutes. Let go.  Allow yourself to be positive, to think only positive thoughts!  Maybe the answer lies in doing just this!  We all want to be happy, but  we are the only ones stopping u...

Ok, Breathe in, Breath out.... I had a baby!! YAY!! Yup I'm a new mommy and with that comes all of the mommy stuff. Sleepless night, Multiple night feedings, lots of coffee. LOL. Anyhoo, I really have to start writing again, because I feel I need a distraction from just being a 24/7 mommy. The thing is... what do I write about? I have hardly done anything fashionable or make up wise. If anything I have gained a lot of weight. (sad face). I had hoped I would lose it while breasfeeding my baby, but I really think that just works for some people and not all people.  I'm the perfect cover for the mommies you see when you turn on the tv. The kid looks cute and nicely dressed, and the mom's hair is uncombed and in a really realy messy bun, her eye liner and mascara (if applied) is completely smudged and the bags under her eyes.... don't even get me started. I really do want to change all that. But I really don't have the time.  anyway, enough ...

So being that the holidays are right around the corner, everybody wants to look their best. And that being said, my best is when my hair, is fully dyed, and my face has make up on it. hihi. It still 6 days till Christmas, and a few more till old years. New years eve, and a couple of days before that, there are parties everyday, and everybody goes all out, even the guys will get new hairstyles. I think bf is geting a mohawk. lol anyhoo, I'm dyeing my hair today. I actually have to cut it, but I'm too late for an appointment. as I said everybody is going all out, so the places I go to get my hair cut are fully booked. I wanted to share the proces. I washed my hair last night, and I combed it out. I dye my hair every 3 months. I don't  like dyeing it alot, because it tend to break easily. I have been dyeing my hair, since I was 19 years old. so I have been doing it repetitively for 8 years. My natural hair color is dark brown to black. I had used the Kuene dye, b...

There are 7 billion people in the world and we always let one spoil our day. Why is that? If it's a person whom thoughts and feelings are important to you, i would get why it would matter to you, but most of the the time, it is not by someone whose opinion you value. So as of today try a little harder, to not get sad, or angry by the one person that doesn't really know, that his or her opinion is not valued. :D On some stressy days i can take out on people who are the most wonderful people  in my life. God has blessed me with kind hearts, such as my sisters and boyfriend. I'm thankful i have them. Products I have been loving Hi guys, sorry i have been mia lately. I had a lot to do, with uni, and other things.  Anyhoo let's jump right in, shall we,  Face For foundation I have been loving the Maybelline Superstay. it's non- transfer, 24 hour foundation. Well I wouldn't know for the 24 hour part, but it has lasted up to 12 hours on me, or longer, it was great even when I went to wash it off. It gives full coverage and is light weight.  Eyeballs I have been loving my Naked 2 palette. The neutral colors make it easy to go from a neutral day look- to a smokey evening look.  Mascara Maybelline's XXL PRO Extensions waterproof mascara in very black, just gives my lashes an instant lift. It has 2 steps, where you first apply a white substance that just primes the lashes and sets them in place and step 2 which is just the blackest of black. However taking it off is a pain. Hi gals, So sorry I haven't posted in such a long time. Vacation, Exams, Life in general and some all around laziness were the reason. lol anyhoooo I went to the mall and to a movie yesterday with my bf's little sister. Hey gals, So my aunt is getting married, and my little sister is a bridesmaid. She asked me if I could do her make up. A friend sent me a picture yesterday, of women who 'overdo' their nails. By 'overdo' I mean that the rule of 'simple is best', is simply forgotten. I mean you might like doing the same art on all ten nails nail, but you have to decide for your self, if it's beautiful of if it just represents clutter. Sometimes it is best to do your nail art on two fingers, the thumb and ringvinger. or skip one, like, pinky, middle  and index finger. Keep in mind that like most things, a mani can go wrong. Think it trough, do the colors match, is the art no too much for my small nails, and so on and so on.... For example, why would you do these, When these say you're sophisticated and classy. Think it through, although the first pic shows of your artistic side, you can't go every where with your nails looking like that. And don't get me wrong, you should express yourself freely, I just mean, keep in consideration that there is  a place, and ...

Ever have that moment when you realise that the life you are living, just isn't the one you want. And it's not like you want someone else's life. 'cause come on, the chances are they are struggling just as much as you are. People always say it could be worse. It can always get worse. I just want it to be better!!! You may not be a family person. You can have your reasons why. I learned that in hard times, you can really count on them. Family doesn't always mean that you share DNA, it is defined by the friends that know you're hurting and try to make your cruel world, a better place. Like all men, my boyfriend doesn't like my little cosmetic addictions. You guessed right!!! One of those addictions nail polish. And with that, the buying of nail polish. Although I keep it cheap he still doesn't appreciate me spending money on nail polish. anyway, he does like my nail art. So when he asked me to do something special on my nails and write his name on them, I didn't hesitate. I was nervous though, because I only did free handend flowers and twigs or french nails. Just some mediocre stuff. But I was up for the challenge. Yay!! The result:  I was happy with my end result, done with just a tooth pick and no clean up necessary :D  Hope you guys like it.... liefs, Michele

Can a color go out of style? I mean there are seasonal colors, but is it a rule than we cannot wear our favourite bright colours in the fall or winter? Because it's cold and we HAVE to wear darker colors. I don't buy that. I mean I love love my neon yellow and neon fuschia an NEON AQUA . I don't want to stop putting them on my toes or fingers just because someone decided that you have to wear darker colors as it get colder. I mean how would I do it? I live in the tropics. Today I'm going to take off the yellow nail polish I put on friday, and I think I'm going to french tip it.  I'm going to but a better whtite thought, as i had bought a yucky cheap white at a chinese store. I think I'm going to buy some klean color nailpolishes today.  I'll put the pics of the end result later in the day. as i'm off to school now, and then to town, and after jogging with my boyfriend and a whole lotta other people hihihi Anyway have a great day guys. I'm looking forward to some frenching and maybe I'll have a few tips as to how i get the perfect line :D

oh my GOSH !! It's official, once you go OPI Lac, you never go back. This Nail Polish is GREAT!!! One coat dry under a minute.... yay! downside: really expensive nail polish :( USD 13 :O Met hun verschillende collecties, it's like I'm a big kid in a candy store hihihihi Now I'm going to go study for my exam on monday, so I can get a job, and buy as much OPI nail lacquer as I want :p

it's super hot in Suriname!! on that note i decided to do my nails a Funky yellow  from Kleancolor with Sparkling Gold grlitter from NK  So this is the base, and then i applied Sparkling gold glitter by NK,  and got this I'm happy!!  now for the toes. :D xx Michele
