Fabulous hair for the holidays :*

So being that the holidays are right around the corner, everybody wants to look their best.
And that being said, my best is when my hair, is fully dyed, and my face has make up on it. hihi.

It still 6 days till Christmas, and a few more till old years.
New years eve, and a couple of days before that, there are parties everyday, and everybody goes all out, even the guys will get new hairstyles.
I think bf is geting a mohawk. lol

anyhoo, I'm dyeing my hair today. I actually have to cut it, but I'm too late for an appointment. as I said everybody is going all out, so the places I go to get my hair cut are fully booked.

I wanted to share the proces.

I washed my hair last night, and I combed it out. I dye my hair every 3 months. I don't  like dyeing it alot, because it tend to break easily.

I have been dyeing my hair, since I was 19 years old. so I have been doing it repetitively for 8 years. My natural hair color is dark brown to black. I had used the Kuene dye, but those have harsh chemicals.
What I used: Revlon Colorsilk Ammonia free in shade 74 Medium Blond. The kit contains a cream color developer, ammonia free colorant, and an after color conditioner.

The proces:
I blow dryed my hair to make sure, it wasn't wet. if it's wet the color won't stick.
I part my hair in 3 sections. 1 front, and 2 backs.
I start at the front, and then work my way to the back. this just works for me because I want most of the color on top, because that's how i guess natural hair is to.. it's lighter in the front, and darker in back.

anyway this the before: ( eww, gross hihihi)

and this after: I blow dryed and used a flat iron, but i went out, and it's quite humid, so it got frizzy :(

All in all, I'm very nervous every time I dye it, because I always think it may turn another color, or not work.
The kit I got for SRD12,- which is about US$ 3.59 ., which very affordable

So that's what I did today

What did you do ?

kiss,
Michele

Bridal makeup

Hey gals, So my aunt is getting married, and my little sister is a bridesmaid. She asked me if I could do her make up. I really don't like the princessy glittery look, so i thought I'd attempt a smokey eyes. But still suitable for a wedding! Anyway this was the result: P.s. Sorry for the duck face, its a brace face in hiding. Hahaha Michele

Friends are closer than we think

Ever have that moment when you realise that the life you are living, just isn't the one you want. And it's not like you want someone else's life. 'cause come on, the chances are they are struggling just as much as you are. People always say it could be worse. It can always get worse. I just want it to be better!!! You may not be a family person. You can have your reasons why. I learned that in hard times, you can really count on them. Family doesn't always mean that you share DNA, it is defined by the friends that know you're hurting and try to make your cruel world, a better place. Don't have friends like that, and think your friends don't have time for you? There someone right next to you that wants to help you. I'm sure you aren't looking close enough!! Don't 'overdo' your nails :D

A friend sent me a picture yesterday, of women who 'overdo' their nails. By 'overdo' I mean that the rule of 'simple is best', is simply forgotten. I mean you might like doing the same art on all ten nails nail, but you have to decide for your self, if it's beautiful of if it just represents clutter. Sometimes it is best to do your nail art on two fingers, the thumb and ringvinger. or skip one, like, pinky, middle  and index finger. Keep in mind that like most things, a mani can go wrong. Think it trough, do the colors match, is the art no too much for my small nails, and so on and so on.... For example, why would you do these, When these say you're sophisticated and classy. Think it through, although the first pic shows of your artistic side, you can't go every where with your nails looking like that. And don't get me wrong, you should express yourself freely, I just mean, keep in consideration that there is  a place, and ...
